Hot, Boiling Lava

 My destination was right in front of me, ( well, not really "in front" of me) but close enough. The Volcano of Terror, as they call it. I could see why not many people visit it. Seeing green liquid looking like green gas almost made me throw up. Lava everywhere, that for sure I didn't want to end up swimming in.  

I was tiptoeing, looking like a dancer on a surface that was too hot for my feet. Getting closer and closer to the volcano, when I heard a humungous shake. Likely, the last thing I saw was a erupting volcano.

The Map

Gladly pulling the fish out of the water, wait a minute ... it's not a fish, it was a bottle with a note inside. Slowly unraveling the note, realizing it was a map! I can't wait to be rich, I say imaging myself with all the gold.

 The red, big X, looked like at the end of the river, I guess beginning paddling was not a bad idea after all. The current was stronger than ever, making me dive head first into the waterfall. Soon figuring out a cave behind. I experienced an instant of panic when the door opened and there it was, the gold, hold up... it was just a key?

  A Twisted Fairy tale

On a majestic day, Alice was skipping along a path. Although she got distracted, the path began leading her into the woods. The tall, mossy trees grew bigger and bigger, trapping Alice in a maze. the darkness swept across the forest until a light broke it.

 Alice peeked through a window and she was shocked to see a witch, next to a pot that was boiling. It didn't take a long time for the witch to notice her. In terror, Alice began to run, but the witch was following her step by step. That is when Alice, woke up from a nightmare.

The Land Of Fairies

I was reading the newspaper that morning, and I took a sip of coffee. It states: tragic fire happening  on  Blue Fairy main street. I was shocked, such a terrible thing to happen.

  As I was taking a flight down the Blue Fairy main street, I noticed a few fire fighters bumbling all over the place like bees, but no fire. I heard people whispering everywhere too. I was to curious so I came up to one of the fairies and asked her what happened, she whispered to me;

 " Don't look back."

So when I did, in a blink of an eye, I saw flames coming out of the building.

              The Lucky Penny            

On a very sunny, beautiful day, I was skipping with joy to get the mail, but a very shiny object glimmered. Leaning in to get a closer look, I realized it's a penny. For a second, I found myself day dreaming how winning the 1 million lottery will be with this lucky penny. Although sadly, no luck has been approaching me, but later that day when walking my dog Katy. Suddenly, in her obnoxious, loud voice, she kept historically barking at a shadow. I looked around until an object caught my eye. It was unbelievable, it was treasure.

Everest 

Mount Everest, 8,848m above sea level, this was my final destination. Everything was packed, even an umbrella, although it will be snowing. As we are flying over the peak, it felt like the plane floated in the air. When I stared at the magnificent sunset, I noticed the red and pink clouds that soon turned into bright yellow stars.

After what felt like a eternity, I was ready to begin or was I? Unexpectedly my courage evaporated like smoke and fear surrounded me. We only have one life. I thought to myself, and so I began, placing one foot on the hard, rocky surface.

    The Lock In

 At the last minute, I grabbed what my hands could hold and headed toward the cashier. As I joined the queue leading to the cashier, suddenly a thought popped in my head.I forgot to get my mom a Christmas gift.

So I turned around and ran toward the Christmas section, there were so many fascinating gifts.Man, the time was running out though, so I quickly grabbed a box of chocolates. While I was doing that, the bright lights turned to pitch black and the air conditioners were silent. No one was in the store except me. By now I realized that I will be missing Christmas.
